Ribbon Cutting: Helping Hands Thrift Store

(Marion, VA) One of Marion’s downtown businesses has moved. Earlier this year, Helping Hands Thrift Store received notification that their building had sold, and manager Amanda Staley went on a mission to keep the business in the heart of downtown. Now, the shop is set up in their new home, just across the street, and is open and ready for business.

Our Easter Bunny Pictures was a very successful event. We had over 200 people visit the Bonham House on Saturday April 16, 2022. Thank You to everyone that came out and everyone that helped make the day happen! We can’t wait to do more things like this in the future!

Spring Clean Up Day 2022

The Chamber of Commerce of Smyth County hosted its annual Smyth Spring Clean Up Day on April 23, 2022. The clean ups were hosted in four locations across Smyth County; Marion’s Riverbend Park, Chilhowie Town Park, Saltville Playground & Helen Barbrow Trail, and Konnarock’s Blue Ridge Discovery Center .
