Our community has weathered many storms, and through every challenge, Smyth County has proven its strength and resilience. As disasters become more frequent and more severe, the need for long-term recovery support continues to grow.
Smyth County Community Foundation, Smyth County Administration and the Smyth County Long-Term Disaster Recovery Team, are dedicated to helping local families rebuild. From emergency housing repairs to structural damage caused by recent events, including Helene and the February 2025 flooding, we are committed to ensuring that our neighbors are not facing recovery alone, both in the present and during future disasters in Smyth County.
